Obstetric & Gynecological AnesthesiologyAnesthesiology
We work in collaboration with Yale Medicine’s Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences to provide anesthesia for patients who are in our care for labor and delivery. We also offer consultative services and management for high-risk obstetric patients. Our team provides different types of regional anesthesia for vaginal and cesarean deliveries, tubal ligations, fetal surgeries and EXIT procedures (for babies who have airway compression). We also have expertise in regional blockade for postoperative pain relief and the use of ultrasound for regional analgesia and epidural placements.
