Dr. Ryan A. Grant is Instructor of Neurosurgery at Yale University and Assistant Professor of Medical Sciences at the Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Dr. Grant completed his neurosurgical residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and medical school at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was elected to the AOA Honor Society. He completed his undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate studies (M.S.) at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with Highest Distinction and Highest Honors.
Dr. Grant is a strong advocate of improving clinical outcomes and the delivery of healthcare. He previously sat on the Board of Directors of the New Haven Medical Society, the Yale-New Haven Hospital Graduate Medical Education Council (GMEC), and several Yale-New Haven Hospital Committees. He cofounded the Yale-New Haven Hospital Housestaff Senate and continues to serve on the Patient Safety Board of the Medical Center Insurance Corporation (MCIC).
In combination with his clinical practice, Dr. Grant is strongly interested in healthcare innovation and medical device development. He has filed for several device patents and cofounded a top NYC healthcare startup (www.nomadhealth.com) that has been recognized by Fortune, WSJ, Business Insider, Crain's, CBS, as well the Yale Business School. In addition to sitting on Nomad Health's Board, he enjoys teaching and has been nominated for numerous awards.
