Dr Earles is originally from New Zealand. After graduating from the University of Otago School of Medicine (New Zealand) he completed his residency and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He underwent further subspecialty training by completing a fellowship in head and neck surgery at Yale University. He has now returned to Yale as a faculty member. His primary clinical interests are resection of head and neck cancers and complex surgical reconstruction with microvascular free flaps.
