Erin Morelli, MSN, CNM (certified nurse midwife) has time on her side when it comes to reassuring expecting mothers.

“I remind my patients that the odds are in their favor, that everything will be okay and that so many other women across the world are going through this and have been for centuries,” says Morelli, who is also a certified lactation consultant.

Morelli says she loves educating women and their families about their bodies. “I believe that anticipatory guidance and prenatal education is key to a health pregnancy, birth and postpartum period,” she says. “I make sure patients know they can call us at any time. I also ensure they know when it’s important to contact us.”

In addition to doing lactation consultations, Morelli offers gynecologic care. “I see teens who may need help with menstrual issues or contraception and who may not need a pelvic exam,” she says.
