David Witt, MD

David Witt, MD, is a medical oncologist who specializes in multiple myeloma and benign hematology (inherited blood disorders).

Dr. Witt says the best part of his job is meeting patients and families, and he enjoys being in a work place that connects science with people.

“Amazing new scientific progress is impacting our work every day,” he says.

When it comes to reassuring patients, Dr. Witt likes to talk to them in a straightforward manner, telling them, “Either the currently available treatment for your condition carries a good prognosis. Or, we can help, while better treatment is under development.”

Dr. Witt has published several publications in the American Journal of Medicine on leukemia and solid tumors.
