Dr. Robakis joined the movement disorders group after completing a fellowship in movement disorders at Columbia University in New York. She graduated from McGill Faculty of Medicine in Montreal and completed her internship and residency at Boston University. She has experience in the diagnosis and treatment of the full range of hypokinetic and hyperkinetic movement disorders including Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia, tic disorders, and Huntington's disease. During her fellowship, Dr. Robakis conducted clinical research on tremor disorders, particularly Parkinson’s disease (PD) and essential tremor (ET). At Yale she is engaged in clinical practice as well as clinical research.
