Aisha Sethi, MD, is a Yale Medicine dermatologist who treats people with various general dermatologic concerns in adolescents to adults. Her expertise focuses on skin cancer, skin conditions in immunosuppressed patients, patients with HIV and also various infectious diseases and tropical medicine.

Dr. Sethi approaches medicine as an opportunity to learn and help. “Every patient encounter is an opportunity for education, for recognizing symptoms and for early interventions, especially with vulnerable patients, including immunosuppressed patients and those with chronic skin conditions,” she says.

In addition to her work seeing patients, she is also an associate professor of dermatology at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Sethi is also the director of Yale Dermatology’s Global Health Program, which aims to help college and medical students and residents in training understand the challenges health systems around the globe face in creating health equity, given social, economic and political factors.
