Trial Purpose and Description

This is a multimethod study that utilizes a combination of laboratory-based and daily diary methods to examine the roles of mental illness stigma and co-occurring emotion dysfunction as risk factors for substance use among adults diagnosed with major depressive disorder.

Eligibility Criteria

If you are 18 years or older, have a history of depression, use alcohol or drugs, and are currently receiving mental health treatment (e.g., medications or counseling), you may be eligible to participate in a free and confidential study that looks at how stress affects your mental health.
